Flap Dash: Neon Laser Flyer is simple to learn but challenging to master. Tap the screen, click the mouse, or press the spacebar to flap your bird's wings. Navigate through gaps in the neon laser gates without hitting them. Each gate you pass earns you points and rewards. Hold the 🚀 boost button (bottom-left) for a 1.55× speed burst to escape tight spots or homing fireballs — 6 second cooldown between uses.
Your progress (gems, gold coins, high score, lives, unlocked birds, daily mission progress, and ability charges) is saved automatically to your browser's local storage. It persists between sessions as long as you don't clear your browser data.
The 🚀 boost button at the bottom-left of the screen is available every run. Press and hold it to speed up the game by 1.55× for as long as you keep holding — release to drop back to normal speed. After each use, there's a 6 second cooldown before you can boost again. Use it to dash through tight gate sequences or escape homing fireballs.
The Daily Missions panel offers 3 challenges that reset every day: collect 20 gems, reach a score of 10, and pass 30 pipes. Complete them and claim bonus gems (50, 25, and 100 respectively).
Open the Shop from the main menu. Each of the 16 birds has TWO prices side-by-side — a gem price and a gold coin price. Pick whichever currency you have more of. Some special birds have unique abilities.
Lives give you a second chance when you die. Instead of returning to the menu, you continue from where you died. Lives can be purchased in the Shop (3-pack).
From the menu, tap Set Username to claim a unique pilot name and join the global top-50 leaderboard. The board auto-refreshes every minute. The 17 achievements (First Flight, Gem Collector, Aviary Master, Champion of the Skies, and more) unlock automatically as you play and persist on your device. The leaderboard is entirely optional — you can play the full game without ever claiming a username.
The game starts easy and gradually increases in difficulty. Levels 1-24 have basic pipes. From level 25, attack birds start appearing. Levels 100-150 are the hardest with double pipes, upward pipes, and faster speeds. After level 150, it goes back to easy.
